We are officially out of the starting gates… The builders’ signs are up and works have begun! Woohoo!
Web Cam Day 1: Floors and skirting boards are coming out of the dining room.
As soon as we got home today we went straight into the house to see what had been done. As you will see, all of the wood flooring has been taken up along with a section of screed.
Riley was very excited to see the hole that builders had done! (Although, this hole was in fact created back in December when we did a trial hole to see what the groundworks consisted of. It has just been covered it up over ever since!).
I’m looking forward to what day 2 will bring!
The good weather is on its way too – onward and upward!
